Publishing Ethics

Authors submitting articles to Research on the Psychology of Religion must adhere to the following ethical guidelines:

Authorship Requirements
Authors must limit manuscript authorship to individuals who have made significant contributions to the research. The author list should be finalized before submission. Both gift authorship (including non-contributors) and ghost authorship (excluding contributors) are prohibited.

Acknowledgments
All organizations and financial support contributing to the research must be acknowledged in the manuscript’s Acknowledgments section.

Originality and Plagiarism
All submissions must be original work produced by the listed authors. External research must be properly cited and referenced. During evaluation, all submissions undergo plagiarism detection screening.

Ethics Committee Approval
Research involving human participants through questionnaires, interviews, or observations requires ethics committee approval. Authors must provide documentation of ethical considerations, including permissions for using others’ scales, questionnaires, or images.

Publication Status
Submissions must be original and unpublished. Concurrent submission to other journals is not permitted.

Research Integrity
Authors must not inappropriately segment research results or manipulate findings. Publishing the same results in multiple issues or presenting them as different publications for academic advancement is prohibited.

Data Availability
Authors must retain raw research data and provide it upon request from editors and reviewers, even after publication.

Error Correction
If authors discover significant errors or inaccuracies in their published articles, they must promptly notify the journal editor and cooperate in retracting or correcting the article.
